Compensation and Benefits Policy

Purpose

At Growth Climb, we are dedicated to providing a fair and competitive compensation and benefits package to attract, motivate, and retain top talent in the IT industry. This policy defines the guidelines for determining employee compensation, as well as the range of benefits offered to ensure the well-being of our employees and their families.

Scope

This policy applies to all full-time and part-time employees of Growth Climb, including contractors, interns, and temporary staff, where applicable.


Compensation Structure

a) Base Salary

  • Market Competitiveness: Salaries are determined based on market research, industry standards, and internal pay scales to ensure competitiveness in the IT industry.
  • Pay Grades: Growth Climb uses a structured pay-grade system based on the role, responsibilities, experience, and expertise required for each position.
  • Salary Reviews: Salaries are reviewed annually during performance appraisals or as dictated by market changes. Adjustments may be made based on individual performance, promotions, or cost-of-living changes.

b) Performance-Based Incentives

  • Annual Performance Bonus: Employees are eligible for performance-based bonuses, which are awarded based on the achievement of individual, team, and company-wide goals.
  • Project Completion Bonuses: Bonuses may also be awarded for the successful completion of critical projects, as determined by management.
  • Incentive Plans for Sales and Business Development: Employees in sales or client-facing roles may be eligible for commission or incentive-based compensation tied to revenue targets or client acquisition.

c) Salary Advances

  • Eligibility: Employees may request salary advances in cases of emergency. Approval will depend on the employee’s work record and reason for the advance.
  • Repayment: Any salary advance provided will be deducted in installments from future salaries as per the terms agreed with HR.

Employee Benefits

a) Health and Wellness

  • Health Insurance: Growth Climb provides comprehensive health insurance coverage for all full-time employees, including:
    • Medical Insurance: Coverage for hospitalization, outpatient care, and maternity care.
    • Family Coverage: Employees have the option to extend health insurance benefits to their immediate family members (spouse, children, and parents) as per the company’s group insurance plan.
  • Mental Health Support: Access to counseling services and mental health resources is available through employee wellness programs.
  • Health Check-ups: Annual health check-ups are provided to promote preventive care.

b) Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • Annual Leave: Employees are entitled to 12 days of annual leave per calendar year, accrued monthly.
  • Sick Leave: Employees are entitled to 12 days of paid sick leave per year. Medical certification may be required for extended sick leave.
  • Public Holidays: The company observes public holidays as per the official holiday list for the region.
  • Personal Leave: Employees may avail personal leave for urgent matters, family emergencies, or other personal commitments, subject to management approval.
  • Maternity and Paternity Leave: The company offers paid maternity leave of 26 weeks and paternity leave of 5 days, as per legal requirements.

c) Retirement Benefits

  • Provident Fund (PF): Contributions are made to the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) as per the statutory regulations. The company matches employee contributions to the PF fund.
  • Gratuity: Employees are eligible for gratuity as per the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, upon completing 5 years of continuous service.

d) Work-Life Balance

  • Flexible Working Hours: To support work-life balance, we offer flexible work hours, subject to role and team requirements.
  • Remote Work/Hybrid Work Options: Eligible employees may avail of remote or hybrid work options as per the company’s remote work policy.
  • Parental Leave: In addition to maternity and paternity leave, employees can avail of extended unpaid parental leave, subject to approval.

Compensation Review Process

Employee compensation, including base salary and bonuses, will be reviewed annually as part of the performance review process. Performance appraisals will assess employees based on key performance indicators (KPIs), achievement of targets, and contribution to team and company goals.

b) Salary Adjustments

Salary adjustments may occur based on:

  • Market Adjustments: Salaries may be adjusted to reflect changes in the job market or industry standards.
  • Role Changes: When an employee’s role or responsibilities significantly change, compensation will be adjusted to reflect the new position.
